Architerra Homes, a new-construction builder in North Idaho and Eastern Washington, won seven awards at the 2026 North Idaho Parade of Homes. Its entry, The Ashford in The Enclave community in Coeur d’Alene, took seven of the eight judged categories in the Spruce price tier. One of those seven was the Realtors Choice Award.
We’re still smiling about this one. The North Idaho Building Contractors Association (NIBCA) announced the winners at its Night of Awards dinner on Thursday, September 10. Name after name, the Spruce tier kept coming back to The Ashford. Here’s a look at what the home won, what happened during Parade weekend, and how you can still see the home for yourself.

Congratulations to Viking Construction, whose Homestead Bonus won Best Kitchen in the Spruce tier. It was the only Spruce category The Ashford didn’t win, and the kitchen at The Homestead Bonus earned it.
A Look Back at the 2026 Parade of Homes
The NIBCA Parade of Homes is North Idaho’s yearly showcase of new home construction. This year, 15 local builders opened 20 homes across Bonner and Kootenai counties, from Sandpoint and Sagle down through Athol, Rathdrum, Hayden, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. The Ashford was House #16 on the map.
Judging is split into six price tiers: Pine, Spruce, Hemlock, Cedar, Tamarack and Sandalwood. That way, each home is compared against homes in a similar price range. Within each tier, judges award seven design and construction categories. Local realtors also pick a Realtors Choice winner.
The homes were open to the public on two weekends: September 12–13, and September 19–20. Realtor Day fell in between, on September 18. That’s the day licensed Idaho realtors toured the homes and cast their votes for Realtors Choice.
Congratulations also go to North Ridge Contracting. Their Blue Rock Estate won the People’s Choice Award, and the company also took home the Hand in Hand Award.

Inside The Ashford: The Details Behind the Wins
The Ashford is a 2,448-square-foot, two-story home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three-car garage. That size fits what buyers are asking for right now.
A floor plan built around privacy and gathering
The layout gives everyone their own space. The owner’s retreat is on the main floor. Two oversized guest bedrooms sit apart from it, and an upper-level junior suite works well for guests, older kids, or a parent living with you. At the center of the home, the great room, kitchen and dining area open into one another. That makes it easy to cook and talk with people at the same time, whether it’s a Tuesday night or a holiday.
Craftsmanship and finishes you can feel
The Ashford has custom all-wood cabinetry and a GE Café Series appliance package. The great room is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a 42-inch linear gas insert. These details are what the judges saw up close, and they’re what you’ll notice the moment you walk in.
An owner’s suite worth coming home to
The owner’s suite is where The Ashford won Best Primary Suite. It has a freestanding soaking tub and a fully tiled walk-in shower with frameless glass. The walk-in closet opens straight into the laundry room, so you won’t be carrying baskets across the house.

The Ashford is at 4492 W Enclave Way in The Enclave, Architerra’s private, gated community in Coeur d’Alene. The Enclave has private walking paths, a central community park, pickleball courts and a community garden. It sits near Prairie Avenue, between downtown Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls, with easy access to Riverstone, the Centennial Trail and I-90.
Homes in The Enclave start in the mid $700,000s and range from three to five bedrooms and about 1,900 to 2,800 square feet. The community is served by the Coeur d’Alene School District, including Atlas Elementary, Woodland Middle School and Lake City High School.
